Children of all ages are warmly welcomed into the life of Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church.
We offer programs for children from preschool through 12th grade. Sunday School classes are currently held via Zoom. Children engage in dynamic Bible lessons, activities, and music. We are committed to nurturing your child’s faith development.
Our children and youth learn and grow in faith.
Aware of the challenges families face, CAPC has opted to hold Zoom Sunday School classes at 12:30 each Sunday. Groups are divided into Pre-K- elementary (grades 1-5) and middle/high school (grades 6-12). Students learn the Bible through the telling of the stories, through song, presentations and so much more.
Our children and youth worship and serve.
At CAPC we think it is important that children participate in the worship life of the church. Children and youth are invited to serve as acolytes, readers for special services, and participate in various video productions (parent approved, of course). Youth gather with others in the community to help pack bags for those in need in our surrounding community, served by our Soup Kitchen (VSK).
Our youth go on special retreats…
Subsidized by the church and its members, youth are encouraged to attend programs at Camp Johnsonburg, a Presbyterian camp with an excellent reputation and variety of opportunities. Youth enjoy these special opportunities to meet youth their own age and engage in programs
tailored to their interests and needs.
